Standard Assessment

Measurement seeks to provide informational insight through observation of variations between individuals to determine limitations and inform treatment strategies.

Explicit Evaluation: Measurement for a specific independent and dependent variable where results are evaluated against the accuracy of the measurement in a probability threshold. The specific measurement is linked to a defined quantitative metric usually founded in numerical representations.

Active Range of Motion in Biceps 75%

Implicit Evaluation: Measurement for a specific result where independent and dependent variables are interpreted by an individual through comparison of initial and final outcomes for individuals who share measurement similarities.

Standard Intervention
Inconsistency from Derivation

Health professionals require introspective and reflective skills of the applicability of their knowledge to provide the required diagnostic and treatment information for participants. Variations in the meaning and relevance of introspective and reflective skills for participants is dependent on a professional’s development in learning and experiences and creates inconsistency in every assessment interpretation and treatment recommendation.

Consequences of Inconsistency

The variability in self-evaluation results in professionals who make incorrect assessment interpretations by oversimplifying or under simplifying a diagnosis for a participant. Treatment strategies are impacted by the evaluation on the complexity of limitations experienced by a participant that can result in over and under servicing that impacts participant outcomes

Standard Engagement

Participants and professionals are not always provided the opportunity to disclose all meaningful and relevant information with time restrictions, confidentiality laws and emotional vulnerability. Collaborative understanding requires communicative guidance from both the participant and professional to ensure all individuals have access to the meaningful and relevant information to make informed decisions about therapeutic services.

Active Listening

Professionals utilise communicative techniques including paraphrasing in the summation of what is said, expressing open body language, validating expressions from participants and sharing their experience. These techniques help establish rapport between the professional and participant that is necessary for building trust and respect to achieve the best service outcomes.

“For my understanding you say your experience with depression can be described as consistent emptiness and hopelessness.”

Open Ended Questions

When professionals utilise questions that start with “how”, “what”, “who”, “when” and “why” they provide opportunities for participants to express an expert insight into their limitation. This not only provides more relevant assessment information but also improves the participant self-insight into the impact of their limitation

“What is the impact of your limitation on your capacity to complete tasks to on a daily basis?”

Our Service

Adaptive Assessement
Written Description

Our artificial intelligence utilises an information transformation function to manipulate the assessment instruction throughout the administration process. This enables adaptive measurement and questioning that seeks the most meaningful and relevant contributions following information provided by a participant.

Visual Measurement Depiction
Standard Measurement vs Adaptive Measurement

Measurement is the objective evaluation approaches on a scale of explicit or implicit results.

Standard measurement describes explicit approaches as inconsistencies in application which causes specific inaccuracies in results whereas implicit approaches are generally inconsistent in the information produced however, inaccurate due to interpretation required for comparisons.

Adaptive measurement describes an explicit-implicit approach, that utilises inconsistency in results to evaluate the measurement approach. The evaluation considers both the specific inaccuracies and general interpretations to decide an adaptive measurement sequence for both professionals and participants.

Adaptive Intervention
Inconsistency Solution

Our intelligence develops a treatment examination based on the participant load for a professional to determine their information competency for treatment. The treatment examination consists of a mix of adapted case studies with different requirements and will adapt throughout the examination to areas the professional demonstrates high and low understanding and variable competence.

Application Example

Consider our professional “Oriana the Occupational Therapist” who has 12 years of experience providing a range of musculoskeletal and paediatric assessment and treatment functions throughout her career. An examination analysis of Oriana revealed:

  • Assessment in a consistently efficient procedure however, missed important details to inform progressive treatment strategies.
  • Treatment with highly consistent engagement but inconsistent progression from participants.
  • Personal burnout from indications of abnormal behavioural changes without alternative cause.
Adaptive Engagement
Intelligent Engagement

Our intelligence ensures communication made meaningful and relevant for all conversations through optimal receptive and expressive exchanges of information from our professionals with participants for a collaborative understanding.

Adjusted Engagement Strategies
  • Adaptive Listening: Our intelligence analyses verbal and non-verbal language as both to further understanding and inform present thoughts and feelings. The professional or participant are provided information with direct intention and indirect intention. Direct intention describes how an individual seeks specific information about a verbal or non-verbal cue to enhance their communicative expressions. Indirect intention describes recommendations made by the intelligence towards the individual consistent with the present communication sequence and desired or perceived sequences of the conversation from the individual.
  • Adaptive Questions: Our intelligence constructs questions with an inclusive understanding from both the perspective of the professional and the participant to ensure consistency in explicit and implicit understanding. The professional or participant will construct the sentence they wish express, and the intelligence will provide an alternative representation with all relevant historical information about personality and current verbal / non-verbal cues. The professional or participant may utilise this recommendation and the intelligence will adjust itself from this choice to enable construction of a dynamic information gathering process.
